The Evolving Landscapes of Device Connectivity

Details

Join us for an fascinating exploration of the ever-evolving landscape of device connectivity. The Internet of Things should be about connecting people to items, anywhere, anyplace, anytime, so we can get information about the items we own, the items we may want to purchase, and even the items in our past. Right now, we are at a tipping point, with the potential to close the gap between the physical world and the digital world. How close are we to getting there? What new means of communication are being developed and will soon be leverage-able? Join John Frederiksen of Impinj and special guests from AT&T, Bluetooth SIG, and Kymeta as they explore those very subjects.

In addition to a presentations and discussion panel, tours of Impinj's "Experience Center" will be available from 5:30-6:20pm. Their Experience Center is a dedicated space upstairs they use to demonstrate their technology's use in real world situations like retail stores, scientific labs, etc. It's quite amazing when you see it in person!

Speakers:

• John Frederiksen – VP of Product Management at Impinj

• Jim Katsandres – Director of Developer Relations & Evangelism at Bluetooth SIG

• Bhaskara Rallabandi – Principal Solutions Architect at AT&T

• Cate van Oppen – Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Kymeta

Agenda:

• 5:30-6:20pm Networking and Impinj Experience Center tours

• 6:20-6:30pm Opening remarks and community announcements

• 6:30-7:00pm Speaker presentations
