IoT BCN: Learn about antennas, IoT standards and more

Welcome to the new November 2023 IoT Barcelona meetup along with the TTN Catalonia community and organized by femProcomuns.

In this meetup we are going to talk about how to design the antennas and select the right wireless standard for your IoT product. We will also learn about the new TTN projects in Catalonia. These will be the speakers:

• Aitor Moreno from Ignion is going to present an overview of the most used wireless standards in the industry and why, incl. how to easily design an optimized antenna solution. Ignion see thousands of device designs and have quite a bit of trend data.
• The TTN Catalonia community is going to showcase the Granollers success story. They are planning to deploy +30K smart meters using LoRaWAN.
• Carlos Orts from IoT Foundations is going to share his experience building noise sensors in Mallorca plus exploring air quality data from multiple sensors in the Palma de Mallorca harbour.
