IoT Belfast 6
Details
After a long break, IoT Belfast is back, and we've got a great lineup in store.
The Event will kick of at 6.30pm with some networking and light refreshments.
We'll have the usual format of 3 short 15 minute presentations, each followed by 5 minutes of questions.
- LoRaWAN: technological evaluation and use cases for IoT
- Joe Rafferty and Andrew Ennis from Ulster University
- Kx: From Wall Street to the Internet of Things
- Andrew Wilson from First Derivitives will tell us about their KX platform, that has significant market share in the Financial Services sector, and is finding new uses for IoT.
- Building accurate clocks to pass the time (pun intended) - Dermot Bradley will be talking about building 2 accurate time servers using Raspberry Pis, a GPS receiver, a radio clock receiver, POE adaptors, and some power tools to build custom cases (no power tools will be demo-ed)
There will be a short period of networking after the presentations. Then, as is customary, we'll retire to a nearby pub.
