Designing Playful Connected Things:

• Justyna is going to talk about design methodologies developed throughout her career of tech- and playthings maker, aiming to ensure that a product serves its function well and at the same time is being open for non-intentional user’s scenarios. She will present how designing for disability inspired me to think broader about the way connected things can shape everyday experiences with senses beyond vision and hearing, with emphasis on playful and poetical interactions, and value sensitive design.

Introducing the concept of Techposter Syndrome:

• Joy is a tech and transformation consultant-turned-entrepreneur on a mission to make tech and business transformation a human-centric endeavour. She speaks and writes about the power of mindset to determine the trajectory of any business or career. Her core message on this is simple: the more we as leaders and individuals can quickly shift our mindset from fear to curiosity, the more success (however we define it) we will have. This is especially true in the face of disruption and rapid technological change. Joy will introduce the concept of Techposter Syndrome. She’ll discuss why we must acknowledge and address it as a matter of importance, and how we start that process for ourselves and within or organisations. HINT: Unlearning is often more challenging than learning.
