Internet of Things Summer Showcase

  • Aug 29, 2012 · 7:00 PM

A week before San Francisco hosts hardware startups as part of Disrupt conference, Cosm is hosting a Summer Showcase of the latest Internet of Things ideas, prototypes and finished products from all over the UK and Europe.

After the success of a small showcase as part of the Open Internet of Things Assembly, it's time to make it a bigger event and celebrate local startups and companies. We're looking for companies, people, artists, to come and show their projects off to the community during an evening.

We welcome proposals from #iot project such as hardware, commercial products, art installations, citizen science projects, and more. The key thing is to have something tangible to show!

Have a prototype or product you'd like to showcase? Send Alex an email at a (dot)sonsino (at) gmail (dot)com or reach out on Twitter at @iotwatch

Does anyone have experience in connecting an Arduino board to an appliance such as a washing machine? We are trying to hack into the washing machines to control it remotely. (-> reply to [masked])

Could you keep me posted on the Air Quality Egg work? I'd be interested in hearing how people progressed with the March AQE workshop day. My contact details: @cleanairuk or email at
