IoT @ Deutsche Bank
Why not connect your home to your bank account? Nobody has to tell developers and app providers that they need their customers' data for their services and ideas. But we'd like to talk about, how we can help deliver that data. Or building trust with the user. Or to shape a registration process conveniently and quickly. Or to initiate a bank transfer from the app. Or to set up sub-accounts for light bulbs. Or or or ... Basically, we want to talk to you about ideas that you and we can get up and running with bank data or make much more effective. It doesn't matter whether these are your ideas or ours. It doesn't matter whether the idea already existed or we spontaneously pull it out of the hat. So come along and bring some curiosity and an open mind - we will take care of the rest. dbAPI is the API program of Deutsche Bank. The dbAPI provides secure and controlled access to bank customers' data so that they can use it in external applications. Third-party providers from start-ups to established companies can use this data to enhance their digital products with additional functionalities, accelerate background processes to improve the user experience, or develop completely new personalized products. The Deutsche Bank API Program was founded in late 2015 with an internal hackathon – meanwhile 11 services and apps use our APIs, we have 1.8 million API calls per month and 2000 developers are registered with our developer portal.
