Commercialization of Smart Mining IoT Products
Details
Mining is an important vertical in the Industrial IoT (IIoT) space, and a vital sector in Canada’s economy, demanding next-generation networks to make it happen. And - CENGN is in the thick of it, implementing a Smart Mining Living Lab with specialized and hardened WIFI and private LTE equipment in the NORCAT Underground Centre near Sudbury Ontario.
This presentation will first overview the role of IIoT in the mining sector and then get down to the nitty-gritty of the real-world mining environment at the NORCAT facility, and the industry-leading wireless technology installed in the CENGN Smart Mining Living Lab. Mining IoT product commercialization projects supported by CENGN and NORCAT will be explained, along with examples of how IoT product solutions are making huge impacts on improving safety and productivity in the mining industry.
Come and learn from Kirby Kosner as he details another important vertical where IIoT is making a world of difference for worker health and safety and economic productivity.
