August West Side Cleanup

If you explore Iowa City on Open Litter Map, you'll see we haven't made it over to the west side! We've heard from a lot of people about trash on the trail along Westwinds Dr. off Mormon Trek, so let's try a little cleanup there.

We will meet at the Green State CU parking lot and work our way west along the trail. Bring gloves, bags, and a litter grabber if you have one (we will have some extras if needed). There may be poison ivy/wild parsnip in the brush along the trail, so long pants and closed shoes may be a good idea too.

It's August, so be ready for the weather: sunscreen, bug spray, hat, etc. You know the drill. Hope to see you there!
