What we’re about
This meetup group is for anyone in Iowa who wants to sync up, meet new people, learn cool stuff, and generally geek out in a very relaxed and informal setting. We discuss a very broad range of Information Security topics, and mainly use this group to stay in touch and get the word out about related events in Iowa. If you or someone you know likes to hack, crack, code, build, break, fuzz, prevent, detect, or respond to things for fun or profit... you'll be in good company here. Please join our group and stop on out to one of our next meet-ups, we'd love to have you.

About SecDSM: a monthly meetup group to network with other InfoSec pros and listen to short tech talks presented by your fellow members (or give a presentation yourself!) while enjoying some beer/drinks/food. No vendors, no sales pitches, no BS. The idea is to provide you actionable knowledge for you to take back to your $dayjob while building a top tier InfoSec community in the Des Moines area. If you have the desire to learn about real world InfoSec scenarios - get out of your comfort zone - and join us in a relaxed vendor free environment. No registration is required.
