About us
Welcome to our Indivisible Poconos public group! Our activities, meetups and events are a great place to make connections with other volunteers, bring new people, share ideas about activism, and have a good time in good company.
Indivisible Poconos is a network of volunteers affiliated with the Indivisible Project, working to defend our democratic values and Constitutional rights, hold our elected officials accountable, and create a future that is rooted in economic, social and climate justice here in the Poconos and beyond.
Community rules and guidelines
We are a friendly, inclusive, supportive, non-partisan group. We have a zero tolerance policy for hate speech, discrimination, bullying or shaming, and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Admins reserve the right to remove members without warning.
Let’s keep our discussions friendly, and always respect the privacy of others in our group. No sharing of screen shots, for example. We want to foster a positive and supporting group atmosphere, where everyone is encouraged to participate.
And as always, be kind!
Group members will receive occasional messages or emails via Meetup and from indivisiblepoconos.org with updates on our events and activities.

Family Friendly Walk in East Stroudsburg
ForEvergreen Nature Preserve, 1539 Cherry Lane Road, East Stroudsburg, PA, USCome walk with us in the great outdoors!
Please join with fellow Indivisibles, friends and family for a relaxing stroll through ForEvergreen Nature Preserve and Brodhead Creek Heritage Center, a few miles north of East Stroudsburg. The 42-acre outdoor destination offers trails, fishing access and educational experiences. This restored property, once the Evergreen Park Golf Course, now features meadows, woodlands and access to Brodhead Creek.
Explore and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Poconos at one of our signature local recreation areas! And a great opportunity to bring new people on board.
We will meet at 9:50 and begin our 1-hour walk promptly at 10:00. The trails are loops, so you can step off at any time, if you desire. We plan to cover about 2.5-3 miles at a moderate pace. All are welcome; the trails are kid- and stroller-friendly (with rugged wheels).
ForEvergreen is located at 1539 Cherry Lane Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301, and we will meet in the parking lot of the Brodhead Creek Heritage Center (same address), at the far end of the parking lot where there's a gate at the trailhead. Find a Google Map HERE.
