Tremendously fun event. Note that Arizona Time should be used, not Mountain. This year's race event is 2 days, so check the schedule! Race is staging at the Bluewater Resort and Casino. Beautiful sandy beaches!

• Outrigger Canoe 2-man (OC2)
• Outrigger Canoe 1-man (OC1)

We had about 15 Utah paddlers there in 2021 and around 30 in 2022. Water is all Class 1, which means mild current, but here there are only quiet surfaces. Current varies between barely discernible and 2 mph. Do some training paddles on lakes, if you want to do well. Other than that, follow the fast guys and gals that know the nuances of this stretch.
We'll paddle past parks, porches, pergolas, pubs, and turn at Pirate's Den (long course), then head back to the Bluewater.
You can camp or RV camp at the start or near the start. There are rentals available along the Parker Strip, and there are lodging options at and near the finish, and just up the road in Lake Havasu City, AZ (about 30-45 minutes away).
Lunch and prizes in the early afternoon. We are also planning a potluck BBQ in the evening with members of Zion Paddlers Meetup Group, exact time and address TBD, might be there at the Bluewater Beach, may be at a home in Moovalya Keys, up in the incredible canal neighborhood of Parker.
P.S. I'm not compensated in any way to promote this event. We just love it, and so will you!
