The DevOps Approach: Providing Stability, Facilitating Change, and Reducing Risk

This presentation by Ippon DevOps Architect Scott Savage will consist of an overview of the principles of the DevOps movement. We will discuss the benefits an IT department will gain by implementing this set of practices - including the goals and benefits, the relationship to Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and the tools we might use to accomplish bringing DevOps to our organization. Finally, we will discuss and analyze a real world scenario of how DevOps could be applied to a fictitious IT department that is plagued by many problems we have all experienced in traditional business environments.
