Light and darkness are more than just physical realities—they're powerful symbols that appear in stories, art, science, and everyday life. We often associate light with hope, truth, and life, while darkness can represent mystery, fear, or the unknown. Yet both are essential parts of our experience.
So what can light and darkness teach us about ourselves?
And why are light and darkness such powerful symbols across different cultures?
This week at IQ Cafe, we'll explore these questions together. After a short introduction, we'll break into small groups for open discussion.
Come share your thoughts, hear different perspectives, and enjoy meaningful conversation in a relaxed and respectful environment.

🕒 Schedule:
8:00-8:20 - Listen to a bilingual lecture on the night's topic while enjoying snacks and coffee
8:20-9:00 - Discussion in small groups
Afterwards - Stick around and hang out with new friends!

The presentations at IQ Cafe are always bilingual because we want you to be able to practice Japanese and English! For the discussion time, there are tables with English and Japanese available. Let's practice language together!
