We often hear that success means having a good career, earning a lot of money, or achieving our goals. But is that really what makes a life successful?

Is success about what we achieve, or how we live? Should we measure our lives by our accomplishments, our relationships, our happiness, or the difference we make in the world? And what happens when our idea of success is different from what society expects of us?

Let's explore what success means to us:

• What does a successful life look like to you?
• How much do money, career, and social status matter?
• Should we define success for ourselves or follow society's expectations?
• Can we live a successful life even if we fail to achieve our goals?

Come join a relaxed discussion and share your thoughts and experiences!

🕒 Schedule:
8:00-8:20 - Listen to a bilingual lecture on the night's topic while enjoying snacks and coffee
8:20-9:00 - Discussion in small groups
Afterwards - Stick around and hang out with new friends!

The presentations at IQ Cafe are always bilingual because we want you to be able to practice Japanese and English! For the discussion time, there are tables with English and Japanese available. Let's practice language together!

人生の成功とは何か、一緒に考えてみましょう！

• あなたにとって、成功した人生とはどのような人生ですか？
• お金や仕事、社会的な地位は、どれくらい重要なのでしょうか？
• 成功の基準は自分で決めるべきでしょうか。それとも、社会の期待に応えるべきでしょうか？
