There has been a debate over the past 25 years over what Irish Nationalism is, what it should become and what its principles exactly are. Not long ago, most of the country was on the same page, from the 1916 Uprising, solidarity with others and the Gaelic Revival. Now, things aren't as set in stone, but should they be?

This first meetup will be an open, thoughtful discussion exploring the direction of Irish nationalism in a rapidly changing world. We will discuss a range of topics from history with figures such as the Wolfe Tones and Patrick Pearse, politics, from the Dail to the EU and culture, how exactly Ireland can become a better place. You don’t need to be an expert, just willing to think, question, and engage with others in good faith.
All perspectives welcome.
