Updated-ICORE Winter Fun Event Snowshoe/Hike Lake of the Falls 2 mi trail

So here we are 4 days away from our snowshoe/hike event and we are changing our destination/location. Our ICORE trail guides went out today to check out the conditions of the TFF route we were suppose to take on Saturday, Feb 24th. The feedback is that the hike would not be great due to warming temperatures and the several layers of water, snow, & ice on the Flowage. So we are rerouting our event to take place at the Lake of the Falls County Park (Side 1 which is accessed on 4720W County Park Rd, Mercer, WI. ) We will meet here at 11:00 am to hike a well marked snowshoe/hike trail that meanders through state land. The loop is 2 miles, however you can make the hike a shorter distance by circling back to the park at any point. After our hike we will still enjoy a camp fire with yummy chili awaiting us at the park. There is plenty of parking on this side of the park.
