ICORE Birding Hike & Paddle Event At Deadhorse Trails

Details: Participants will hike 1 to 2 miles on the Deadhorse Grouse Trails within the Turtle Flambeau Scenic Waters Area. Then the participants would paddle about a mile on the Little Turtle River back to the starting point. John Bates will lead the group while they discover birds, and other wonders of nature found along the journey.
Date: Friday, May 16th
Time: 7:30 am until 12 pm
Number of participants: 12 (participants will be required to sign up using this ICORE Meetup.
Hiking/Paddling schedule
7:30 am Change of plans - please park your cars with your boats near the confluence of the Turtle Flambeau Flowage and the Little Turtle River. Our hike will start and end there. So will our kayak start and end there. We will have signage by the parking area on Popko Circle West.

Starting at the parking area participants would hike 1 to 2 miles through the Deadhorse Grouse trails which will loop back to our parked cars.
The group would continue birding activities while paddling the Little Turtle River back to the vehicle parking area.
