Monday ICORE Coed Social Paddlers

We are finally kicking off our Monday evening paddles! Sorry for the delayed start this summer. Our first paddle will be a paddle up & down the Little Turtle River at its access point off of Popko Circle West. This is a lovely paddle that is rarely done and offers some great remote views of the Little Turtle River and its remoteness. We will follow this paddle with our traditional 1st paddle of the year Potluck Dinner at the Ondresky house which is not far from the launch site. Please RSVP using Meetup.

1. We will park & launch our boats off of a gravel side road that is off Popko Circle West. I will have the ICORE Banner on the side of the road where you will turn off to park your cars. 2. At the conclusion of the paddle, we will have a Potluck dinner at Ondresky's house, so bring a dish to share and your beverage of choice. We will provide Brats, Buns and Condiments. Ondresky address 4792W Camp Nokomis Road.
3. The Weather for Monday looks fantastic. All sunny skies!!!!

Bring your own boat (kayak or canoe), paddle, life jacket, water bottle and hat with a brim. (bug jacket!!!) Dress for the weather and be ready to enjoy the great outdoors. We will launch at 5:00 p.m. Please check directions for where we are launching from. The launch into the Little Turtle will require you to step into the water, it is a hard sand bottom and you might want to wear water shoes.
