The trail has not been maintained by ICORE for several years so there are plenty of tasks to be taken care of on the workday.
TIME: 10:00 a.m. and run until about 2:00 p.m., with flexibility for folks to drop in and help as they’re able.
OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES FOR THE DAY INCLUDES:

  • Removing hazard trees
  • Trimming and moving brush
  • Expanding the width of the snowshoe trail for winter use
  • Painting the kiosk (we have all supplies ready)

WHAT TO BRING

  • Volunteers should bring:
  • water to drink
  • gloves
  • snack or lunch
  • Dress for the weather
  • The WDNR staff will provide most of the necessary tools. Feel free to bring additional tools such as:
  • Rakes
  • Clippers
  • hand saws

WE ALSO NEED VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE:
