Languages of Life – Two Paths to Stronger Communication

Details
For a man, learning to speak clearly, and to listen deeply, is a skill that builds trust, leadership, and compassion.
Join us for a two-part event exploring how men can grow in their ability to connect with others, especially in moments that matter most.
Part 1: Japanese Sign Language – Say Who You Are Without Words
with Coach Mark
In this hands-on 😉 session, you'll learn how to introduce yourself in Japanese Sign Language and explore the power of non-verbal connection. A great skill for any man who wants to engage with people from different walks of life, including the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
Part 2: QPR Suicide Prevention – Speak Up, Save a Life
with Coach Richard
Sometimes, being a strong man means having the courage to ask difficult questions. This vital class introduces QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer), a practical method for recognizing the signs of suicidal thoughts, showing care, and guiding someone toward help. No prior experience needed, just a willingness to be present and take responsibility for those around you.
Why This Matters for Men:
In a world where many men are taught to stay silent or figure things out alone, these sessions offer tools to connect more deeply with others and with yourself. Whether through silence or through difficult conversation, communication is a skill every man should build.
