Paint the Peaks Purple to end Alzheimer’s

Please join me for this years Longest day hike to help raise awareness and donations towards research for Alzheimer’s disease. The goal for our chapter is to raise $1000.00 and paint a Peak purple!
I have chosen Echo Cliff on Panther Mountain for an all levels, family friendly hike. Panther mountain is near Piseco, NY( similar in driving distance as Randoxe fire tower /Bald mountain 😉) . It offers well-worn trails and occasional steep sections, making it great for beginners looking for a short challenge.
Distance: 1.6 miles round trip
Elevation gain: 670 feet
If you are interested in being apart of this cause but are not able to attend, you can still join our team and choose an outdoor activity of your liking. Don’t forget to wear purple and snap a pic to submit to the club to show your support for awareness!

👉 How to get there: From NY 8 at the south end of Piseco Lake, go north on West Shore Road for 2.6 miles. Look for the DEC sign for Panther Mountain on the left. Parking is available on the side of the road.
👉 Wear something purple, Bring a bagged lunch and minimum 1 liter water.
