Join if you want to meetup with others with shared interests. The adult public programs at Irvine include birding, foraging, gardening, hiking, herbalism, nature exploration and health and wellness based classes. There are free and paid classes. All skill levels welcome.

Qigong & Sound Immersion Workshop with Mary Pinkard
Irvine Nature Center, 11201 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD, USIn the first half of this workshop, participants will be a part of an outdoor session delving into the ancient practice of Qigong–engaging in moving meditations that emphasize deep breathing, opening energy pathways, and fostering a profound mind-body connection. In the second part, participants will relax deeply on their mats immersing themselves in the transformative vibrations and resonant frequencies and tones of singing bowls, drums, and chimes. Together, the practices of Qigong and the auditory journey of Sound Immersion will inspire energy balance, reduce stress, and create harmony within the body, mind, and spirit. This event is ideal for ages 18+. No prior experience needed. All are welcome. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MAT/BLANKET AND SUPPORT PILLOW FOR BOTH PORTIONS OF THIS WORKSHOP. THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE!
