Nematodes, Rotifers, & Water Bears, Oh My! From single-celled organisms to microscopic animals such as tardigrades, there is an unseen world teeming with biodiversity that of a forest at large. Join Irvine’s Environmental Educator, Colby Bieschke, on a microscopic expedition to discover the animals and organisms that call mosses home.
Colby Bieschke serves as the Manager of Nature Camps and Summer Camp Director at Irvine Nature Center. With over a decade of experience in environmental education at The National Aquarium and INC, Colby is dedicated to fostering nature-based learning and outdoor exploration for children. His passion for environmental education extends beyond Irvine; he was recently elected President of the Otter Point Creek Alliance, where he continues to advocate for environmental stewardship and community engagement.
