Shut Up and Write ® at Camano Island Library
Local writers, you’re invited to the "Shut Up and Write" sessions in the Camano Island library's meeting room. This event is designed to provide a focused, supportive environment for writing.
Each session consists of one hour dedicated exclusively to writing––participants are expected to refrain from talking or offering critiques. The emphasis is on creating a quiet, distraction-free space where everyone can channel their creativity and enjoy positive, writerly energy.
Following the writing hour, there will be an opportunity for socializing with fellow writers. Attendees are welcome to join in conversation and, if interested, continue discussions at a nearby coffee shop.
Writers (of all levels) are encouraged to bring their preferred writing tools, such as a laptop or simply a paper pad and a pen. Sessions are on the following Wednesdays, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM: February 18th, March 4th, and March 18th. Continuing sessions to follow. See you there!
