Friends Hike, Potluck, and Trails Talk

Join us for a potluck, open discussion about trails, and an optional hike. This event will be at the Hickory Shelter, which is the last lot as you drive straight into the park.

We'll start with a short, optional hike - beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. along the Trillium loop. For our newest members - this is a beautiful section of our Hickory Ridge trail that follows the Kent Lake shoreline and starts/ends at the park's Hickory shelter. We'll follow the hike with a potluck/picnic back at the Hickory shelter and a short & informal meeting afterwards.

We plan to start the trail talk at 7:30 p.m. at the shelter. Feel free to bring something for the grill or a snack to share and your favorite beverage.... and bring your best cornhole skills or favorite picnic game!! Friends, family and new members always welcome!!

7:30 - ??? Lets’s talk trails. Hiking. Biking. Bird. Water. Whatever. No agenda. Have a hike you want to share? Part of a Meetup or other club that recreates on the park you’d like to promote. We will give you 5 minutes to share and see where the discussion goes.
