25% Tariffs -- is it really just politics, or is there more to it?

Details
Did you hear about the tariffs? It's obvious why each premier has their position. Especially Danielle Smith. We got here because of Trump, right? You sure?
It depends on who you feel won the election. Was it Trump, the Orange Man, or the God Emperor. But, did you watch the continuous political trainwreck down south? Or how the toxicity spread up here into Canada?
If you watch what's going on down there and in other Western nations, you'll start to see a pattern. You're going to see trends. You think Trump is bad? You just wait.
Let's have a conversation about how politics is changing, how it's the new religion, and what will happen once the president-elect gets back into the Whitehouse -- and then downs a few cokes.
No political topics are off the table as long as you're respectful. Just be warned that I don't care one way or another about Trump or American politics. Though interesting to watch, it just muddies everything. I'm only concerned about what Canada's leadership will be planning and doing. And the political parallels between Canada and the USA. Some points I want to bring up --
- meme magic in elections (the bite of apple heard around the world)
- Space Daddy Elon Musk getting political (him and other Canadian billionaires)
- Artificial Intelligence in our politics
- censorship bills
- comparing Republicans to Conservatives (and MAGA to Conservatives)
Looking forward.
