Harlem Emergency Preparedness Day 2024

On Thursday September 26 2024 at 12pm ET (16:00 UTC) WHCR-90.3FM will host the 7th annual Harlem Emergency Preparedness Day at City College NYC. The purpose of this annual event is to give residents of the Harlem community information, skills and tools to prepare them for emergencies and natural disaster. Participating organizations include Harlem Hospital Center, the Citizen Preparedness Corp, FDNY, South Harlem CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), HEN (Harlem Emergency Network), NYCEM (New York City Emergency Management) and WEBT (WHCR’s Emergency Broadcast Team).
