20:00/:30-21:30 – Networking (Refreshments graciously provided by the Korean Embassy)

The relationship between Israel and Korea is rapidly expanding - and Korea should be considered as one of the first targets for cooperation when planning your global strategy. Koreans have great respect and admiration for Israel in general, and for our innovation culture in particular, and are eager to learn from us and to expand our business ties. They also have much to teach us regarding international marketing, efficient manufacturing, and doing business globally. And, beyond the substantial Korean market, they are a unique and friendly gateway to the vast Chinese market.
One of the most dedicated and ardent supporters of this bi-national cooperation, Mr. Youngtae Kim - Industrial Attaché at the Korean Embassy and Director of the Small and Medium Business Administration of the Republic of Korea - will, unfortunately, be returning to Korea this month. We therefore take this opportunity to say farewell to Youngtae, and to hear a few words about his vision, his hopes, his accomplishments, and his plans for the continuous expansion of this exciting and fruitful cooperation.

Following Youngtae's short presentation, our panel will discuss such issues as cultural differences and similarities and tips for successful business cooperation, and will highlight some case studies that haveleveraged the strengths of each country for mutual benefit.

You are welcome to submit questions in advance of the event to arlene at tech-river dot com
