To see a World in a Grain of Sand: One Access Policy as a Microcosm of Security

Details

Access policies—built around identity context—are the foundation of modern Zero Trust security. But what makes up an access policy, and how do those components influence your enterprise’s security architecture and roadmap?

Join us for a deep dive with Jason Garbis, Founder & CEO of Numberline Security and co‑chair of the Cloud Security Alliance’s Zero Trust Working Group. Drawing inspiration from William Blake’s poetry, Jason will deconstruct one access policy to reveal its four core elements—Principal, Action, Resource, Context—and show how each drives the need for a fully identity‑aware platform.

By the end of this session, you’ll be able to:

  • Articulate the four standard elements of a Zero Trust access policy
  • Map policy components to enterprise architecture and tooling decisions
  • Apply a vendor‑neutral framework for designing identity‑centric access controls
