Welcome. The Home Solar Energy Meetup group is an online forum focusing on current issues of residential solar energy. The primary focus is in the effect of government, community, and utility incentives in making solar energy affordable.
Some states have aggressive incentives that can bring the Net Cost of purchase down to less than 20%. Some states, not so much. We will discuss how Federal incentives, when used to their maximum extent, can reduce the Net Cost to 40%, even without additional state incentives.
The group will also address developments in panel & battery technology, and other topical issues. You are welcome to bring your questions and topics to the forum.
