This is a broad, expansive, thrilling narrative of world history as the Islamic world saw it. The book begins in earnest with the origin of Islam and continues on through the fall of the Ottoman Empire and beyond.

Our discussion can be about any and all aspects of the book and, of course, topics adjacent to it. In the future, we'll zero in on particular topics and go deeper.
