I Swear I’m Outdoorsy (Mostly) 🥾🌄

🙌 The High Desert is beautiful, but let’s be honest. Most of the time it feels like we are driving more than we are actually doing anything. This group is for people who want to get out of the car and experience the place we live in. Sunrises on your face. Open views. Fresh air. Real movement. Fun that does not require going down the hill every weekend.

☀️ The Vibe
Light, playful, and motivating. We like to get outside, move, and connect. This is not a therapy circle, although we support emotional well being. Please save your plot twists for after the hike. Bring water and good energy.

🎒 What We Do
• Hikes with real views worth getting up for.• Walks along the Mojave River.
• Tennis and pickleball with zero pressure.
• Range time for the “I swear I am improving” swings.
• Bike rides with zero spandex.
• Dirt bikes.
• Paddle boarding.
• Kayaking.
• Yoga for breathing, stretching, and resetting.
• Paint and sip nights.
• Anything creative. We love that kind of thing.

💪 When We Are Feeling Bold
Snowboarding, camping, and anything that gives us a little adrenaline. We enjoy adventure but do not take ourselves too seriously.

🥾 Movement Level
We are a moderate activity group. Most hikes are between 2 and 6 miles. Nothing extreme and nothing miserable. Enough movement to feel good without ruining your knees. Creative activities are the easiest and open to everyone.

Zero drama. Real names. Real face photos. No anonymous or suspicious profiles.

Event locations are shared only with approved attendees.

If sign ups are low, I may shift the date to keep the energy strong. Updates are posted the night before each event.

💸 Monthly contribution
Meetup actually charges organizers to keep groups running which is wild considering we’re just trying to get outside. There is a 9.99 monthly contribution so we can cover the organizer fee and keep events consistent and active. Activities like camping, pottery, or anything that requires outside costs will have their own separate fee.

📄 Liability and Safety
Joining any event means you understand that all activities are voluntary and you participate by your own choice. You are responsible for your own safety, your own decisions, and your own belongings. The organizer and group are not liable for injuries, accidents, or lost items.
