Are you a fan of classic films like The Godfather, Gone with the Wind, Star Wars, Citizen Kane, and Casablanca? Would you like to discuss them with other film fanatics? Then this is the group for you!
We meet monthly to discuss one of the top 100 films of all time (based on the "Top 100 Movies of All Time" list at davesmoviedatabase.com). Please note: We do not watch the movies together. Participants watch the movies on their own.
Also: there is a waiting list for the group so members are not automatically approved. However, that also means that I regularly purge inactive members (generally those who haven't attended for five months or more) to make room for new people.

Discussion: It Happened One Night
Merriam Plaza Library, 6120 Slater Street, Merriam, KS, USJoin us to discuss It Happened One Night (#90 on our top 100 movie list). Filmsite.org called this 1934 Frank Capra-directed film a "sparkling, legendary, madcap, screwball romantic comedy." It Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert as “the antagonistic couple [who] have a series of hapless adventures and comic misunderstandings, leading them to the realization that they were made for each other" (Filmsite.org).
