This is so we can match the payment to you...thanks **ABOUT THE SESSION** This singles games session is for badminton players of **high intermediate to advance level skills, Division 1, Division 2 (minimum) club or league experience.** This session is **not suitable** for beginners, improvers or low intermediate. In some exceptional cases, organiser's discretion will apply. Come and join us for some Badminton singles games at Chobham Academy from 2pm to 4pm. We play with feather shuttlecocks. The venue is approx. 10 mins walk from Leyton Station (turn left as you exit the station and then right at Drapers Field towards Temple Mill Lane). If you're coming from Stratford Station, walk through Westfield towards Waitrose. Take the exit on the right called Celebration Avenue. Follow the road for several minutes and you will come to the entrance of the school on Temple Mill Lane, which is on the right hand side. Still can't find it, call me on 07863 165824. If you are driving there is an NCP car parking opposite the school. There are also places in Leyton area that you can park for free. Please check road signages for timings. The session is for mixed ability players (mainly beginners & intermediate players). So please be respectful and kind towards less experienced players - we all have to start somewhere 🧡 🌱 We use YONEX MAVIS 300 Nylon Shuttlecocks. 🏸 We have a few spare rackets if needed. Format: We play doubles for the whole time and keep rotating opponents/partners across courts so everyone plays each other. **Venue:** 🚪Entrance to the sports hall is on the corner of Celebration Avenue and Temple Mills Ln 🧼There are showers, changing rooms & a water fountain at the venue 🚶‍♂️5 minute walk from Stratford International DLR Station 🚗 Paid car parking is available on site **Rules** Classic doubles rules - can be explained at the start of the session if you’re new to badminton or need a reminder 🤝

We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome.
