What We’re About
Sid’s Badminton Club is a friendly, competitive and well‑run badminton group based in Central London (Victoria, Tuesdays 8–10 PM) and Richmond, West London (Sundays 4:30–7:30 PM). We focus on proper games, fair rotation and a respectful atmosphere. If you enjoy good rallies and playing with people who take badminton seriously (but still keep it friendly), you’ll fit in here.
We play at Queen Mother Sports Centre in Victoria and Christ’s School in Richmond.
Session Times
Tuesdays – Victoria (Full Sports Hall, 5 Courts)
8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Strong intermediate to advanced level. Fast pace, good lighting, and the whole hall to ourselves.
Saturdays – Victoria
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Mainly league matches during the season.
Sundays – Richmond (All Year Round, 4 Courts)
4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Our main weekly session. Four courts, premium feather shuttles, singles and doubles, and a solid mix of intermediate to advanced players. Free secure parking.

We keep the standard consistent so everyone gets good games.
We welcome:

• Strong intermediate to advanced men
• Players interested in joining our league teams
• Guests who want to try the club before becoming members
If you’re unsure of your level, come along — we’ll guide you.
Membership
Membership is available for players who attend regularly and match the club level and the membership is offered. Members get priority booking and discounted sessions.

We run men’s, ladies’ and mixed doubles teams. If you’re committed and want to play matches, speak to us — we’re always looking for reliable players.

Match Season (October – April)
During league season, Tuesday sessions have limited places and are open to intermediate to advanced players on a pay‑and‑play basis.
Outside the season, we welcome lower intermediate to advanced players.
Cost
£14 per session (Tuesdays & Sundays)
Includes premium feather shuttles.
Please pay at the start of the session.
First‑timers must pay in cash.
Bank transfer is available from your second session onwards once it’s set up.
If payment isn’t made during the session and we have to chase you afterwards, the fee becomes £20.
If this still isn’t settled, you will be removed from the group and blocked from attending future sessions.
The same applies to no‑shows who do not release their RSVP within the cancellation policy.
RSVP Policy
All players must RSVP before attending.
If you can’t make it, please release your spot at least 12 hours in advance so others can join.
Repeated no‑shows may result in removal due to limited spaces.

If we have to chase payment afterwards, the fee becomes £20.

If you’re unsure of your level, come along — we’ll assess it on court and point you in the right direction.What’s Included
