Chris Roberts, Professional Hacker: Interview with IT-NTL & SFS

Details
An interview with the one and only Chris Roberts of hillbillyhitsquad.com, cybersecurity researcher and outspoken advocate. He’s likely hacked things you’ve eaten, driven, flown in, rode, have in your house, had in you dreams, etc. Basically if it’s got wings, wheels, tracks, tires, engines, or microchips the chances are he’s sat in a lab somewhere with it, and laughed maniacally….’Oh, and he collects whisky and watches…. don’t ask.
Me and a few friends from Software Freedom School will chat with Chris, life and career stuff: how he learned his craft, got to where he is today, his own highlights, struggles, regrets, community support, and whatever else comes up about infosec but probably NOT too much about commercial products that can fix log4j.
This is less commentary on cybersecurity industry, more examination of a career and personal journey in cybersec, and also maybe a little industry and tech community talk. We'll see how it goes but the point is: navigating any kind of a career in cybersec or IT in general can be an unusual path for a lot of folks, so lets spotlight one of those journeys and talk about this topic generally.
Will post link to the zoom or whatever we end up using closer to the date, thanks!
