Mark Rothko is one of the most influential Abstract Expressionist artists of the 20th century-you probably already knew that. But I’ll bet you didn’t know that he went to high school in Portland and that his art was inspired by the time he spent in Florence, Italy. Let's go check out the Rothko exhibit at the Portland Art Museum. Admission is free!

We will meet by the circle sculpture in front of the Museum cafe (10th street). Stay for as long as you'd like. If we are in the mood, we can go for cocktails afterward at Swine.
