Salve!
Come join fellow Italian learners to practice speaking and listening. Any level of ability is welcome, even if you are just starting out! You will not find a less intimidating group of people :) Look for us at the large reserved table in the main dining area.
I Promessi Sposi - Circolo di libro- Optional
If you'd like, join us in reading "I Promessi Sposi" by Alessandro Manzoni, adapted from the original classic novel for Italian learners, and discuss with the group. The book is available from Amazon.
This week, we are starting the book with chapters 1. (NOTE: This is a the in person option. There is also a zoom option on Sunday evenings) For group discussion, bring questions, thoughts, observations, etc. ... about the story, characters, Manzoni, the history behind the story, vocabulary etc., whatever intrigues you!
NB: Please be sure to RSVP as we will cancel the event if we don't have at least 4 attendees by around 3 pm Wednesday afternoon. (Likewise, please be sure to cancel your RSVP if your plans change.)
