Read & Learn Italian: La vita di...Gianni Versace

Join us as we learn about the lives of famous Italians. In this session, we will celebrate the life of Gianni Versace, who was known for his daring fashions and glamorous lifestyle. We will learn of his early beginnings in Calabria, his staggering international success in the fashion and theatrical world and his untimely and tragic death in 1997.

Audience: For English speakers learning Italian at the intermediate level.

The Plan:

1. We will all read the presentation in Italian within smaller groups/breakout rooms.
2. We will translate the passages into English.
3. We will rejoin the main room to reflect on the reading and discuss our thoughts.
