Andiamo ad una festa italiana!

This Sunday we will be attending the Italian Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, in Springfield! Let's meet in front of the Italian Cultural Center at 3 pm. The address is 56 Margaret St. in Springfield. We will head over to the festival no later than 3:15, so look for us there if you join late! Family and friends who don't speak Italian are welcome to join, though this event will still be used for language practice!

"The Springfield Order of the Sons & Daughters of Italy will also announce the official return of the beloved Italian Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, will take place July 12–13 on Winthrop St., of the South End.
There has not been a Feast, “La Festa” in the neighborhood for twenty years. Once a celebrated, annual, greatly anticipated, and well-attended social and cultural gathering, many have hoped for a return of this decades-old tradition."
