Italian Picnic / Potluck Dinner Party

Benvenuti, amici! We welcome you to join us for an Italian picnic / potluck dinner party. Michael Alberts and Anatol have reserved a group of tables for this party in the beautiful Sellwood Park, Picnic Area D (near the swimming pool and pickleball courts).

This is a chance for Italophiles around the Portland area to get together and chat in Italian about our different experiences of the language and culture. This is a casual, fun conversation group where all levels of proficiency are welcome, from native to beginner.

Feel free to bring a drink, salad, main course, side dish or dessert as you wish. Foods and wines from Italy are especially welcome.

Harvey will bring a bocce set and a deck of Italian "Scopa" cards. Feel free to bring additional play items.

We will provide some disposable plates, cups and silverware. If you want to minimize trash, you may of course bring your own washable dishware. We would also welcome a couple of picnic tablecloths.

Our picnic area is in a wooded park, but without a cover over the area so if it looks like there is a chance of rain, you are welcome to bring some type of shelter or awning.

We are also suggesting a small donation to help pay the costs of hosting, such as the park reservation fee. This is definitely not mandatory but if you find enjoyment from this great group please consider a few dollar donation. Grazie Mille! Ci vediamo presto!
