Join us for a captivating virtual walk through the historic center of Bologna, one of Italy’s most fascinating cities. Led by Patrizia, this immersive tour invites you to wander through a maze of medieval streets, graceful porticoes, and lively piazzas that reveal the city’s unique character and deep-rooted history.
Bologna is often called “La Dotta, La Grassa, La Rossa”—the Learned, the Fat, and the Red—for good reason. It’s home to the oldest university in the Western world, a rich culinary tradition that includes tortellini, tagliatelle al ragù, and mortadella, and a warm terracotta hue that colors its rooftops and buildings.
As we stroll with Patrizia, you’ll get a taste of Bologna’s vibrant atmosphere. You’ll see elegant towers rising above the city, beautifully preserved medieval churches, and local life unfolding beneath the iconic porticoes—now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the majestic Piazza Maggiore, where history and civic life have intersected for centuries, to quieter alleyways where artisans still work and students gather, you’ll come away with a deeper sense of Bologna’s soul.
So get comfortable, pour yourself an espresso or a glass of local Lambrusco, and let us take you on a inspiring walk through the heart of Bologna.

Check out all our Italy Virtual Tours Italy awaits you! - The Brancacci Chapel in Florence Virtual TourLink visible for attendees
Join us for a virtual tour that takes you up close to one of the most important masterpieces of the early Renaissance: the frescoes of the Brancacci Chapel in Florence.
Often called a “school of the world” for painters, this beautiful chapel tells powerful stories through images and changed the way artists painted forever.
With the help of slides, we’ll explore the chapel’s amazing cycle of frescoes, started in the 1400s by Masaccio and Masolino, and later finished by Filippino Lippi. These paintings were a turning point in art, when artists began to focus more on realistic people, depth, and emotion.
You’ll see how Masaccio’s use of light and shadow shaped the future of painting, and how the scenes show not just religious stories, but also what life was like in 15th-century Florence. What makes this chapel even more special is how it connects to real places and people. Some scenes are set in the streets of old Florence, and some of the faces you’ll see are real people from that time—including famous artists.
Look closely, and you might recognize Brunelleschi, the architect of the great dome in Florence, and Botticelli, known for painting The Birth of Venus.
Don’t miss this unique chance to explore a true Renaissance treasure—without leaving home.HOW TO JOIN:
