As we wander together, we’ll leave behind the busy squares and famous landmarks to discover a more intimate side of the city. The streets of Selva lead us through narrow alleys, hidden courtyards, and elegant stone buildings that whisper stories of the past. Here, daily life moves to the rhythm of tradition, with every fountain, flag, and wall detail reflecting the unique identity of this proud contrada.
Along the way, we’ll learn how Siena’s contrade are more than just neighborhoods—they are living, breathing parts of the city’s soul. Each has its own symbol, colors, chapel, and deep connections to the Palio, Siena’s legendary horse race. Selva, marked by its bold rhinoceros emblem and striking green-and-orange banner, is particularly rich in history and spirit.

HOW TO JOIN:
The tour will be hosted on Zoom. To register, you are required to enter your full name (first and last name).After the registration, you will receive via email a personal link to access the virtual event. To protect your privacy, your camera will be disabled during the event.
The tour will last approximately 1 hour. At the end of the tour you will be given the chance to interact and make questions just like a live tour. The tour takes place in English!
