On this virtual tour, we’ll explore how Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, and Arabs transformed the island’s landscapes, cities, and traditions, leaving behind an extraordinary heritage that still defines Sicily today. From the earliest Phoenician ports to the refined world of Greek colonies, you’ll witness how the island became a vibrant center of trade, innovation, and artistic expression at the heart of the Mediterranean.
Our journey will take us through some of Sicily’s most iconic cities — Palermo, Syracuse, Agrigento, Taormina, and Monreale — each revealing a different layer of its complex history. We’ll admire the Greek temples rising proudly in Agrigento, walk through the ancient streets of Syracuse, and explore Palermo’s captivating blend of Arabic arches, Norman grandeur, and Baroque flourishes. In Taormina, perched between the sea and Mount Etna, you’ll discover a place where Greek theatres, Roman traces, and medieval influences come together in one breathtaking panorama. And in Monreale, we will marvel at golden mosaics that reflect the dazzling fusion of Byzantine, Arab, and Norman artistry.

HOW TO JOIN:
The tour will be hosted on Zoom. To register, you are required to enter your full name (first and last name).After the registration, you will receive via email a personal link to access the virtual event. To protect your privacy, your camera will be disabled during the event.
The tour will last approximately 1 hour. At the end of the tour you will be given the chance to interact and make questions just like a live tour. The tour takes place in English!

Our virtual tours are tip-based and not free, they rely entirely on contributions from participants. This means we do not impose a fixed ticket price to join.
