Originally built in the 15th century for the wealthy Pitti family, the palace was later purchased by Eleanor of Toledo, wife of Cosimo I de’ Medici, who transformed it into the official residence of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany. From that moment, Palazzo Pitti became the stage upon which the Medici displayed their wealth, taste, and artistic patronage — a setting that rivaled the grandest royal courts of Europe.
Through a captivating virtual tour with slides, we’ll journey through opulent halls, frescoed galleries, and private chambers that reveal centuries of power and refinement. Our guide will bring to life the stories, art, and architecture that made this palace a true masterpiece of the Renaissance.

HOW TO JOIN:
The tour will be hosted on Zoom. To register, you are required to enter your full name (first and last name).After the registration, you will receive via email a personal link to access the virtual event. To protect your privacy, your camera will be disabled during the event.
The tour will last approximately 1 hour. At the end of the tour you will be given the chance to interact and make questions just like a live tour. The tour takes place in English!
