Join us for a fascinating live virtual walking tour through San Gimignano, one of Tuscany’s most beautiful and enchanting medieval towns, famous for its extraordinary skyline of ancient towers, picturesque streets, and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside.
Often called the “Medieval Manhattan,” San Gimignano is a remarkable place where time seems to have stood still. Perched on a hill overlooking the rolling landscapes of Tuscany, this UNESCO World Heritage town preserves the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, when wealthy families competed to build ever-taller towers as symbols of their power and prestige.
Together, we will wander through narrow cobblestone streets, charming medieval squares, ancient stone buildings, and hidden corners, discovering the fascinating history and timeless beauty of this extraordinary Tuscan gem.
Our journey will take us to the magnificent Piazza della Cisterna, one of Italy’s most picturesque medieval squares, surrounded by historic palaces and dominated by its famous ancient well. We will then explore Piazza del Duomo, the historic heart of the town, where the impressive Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Palazzo Comunale, and the towering Torre Grossa tell stories of San Gimignano’s glorious past.
Along the way, we will discover how this small Tuscan town became an important stop along the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrimage route connecting northern Europe with Rome, bringing merchants, travelers, pilgrims, and prosperity to its streets.

Here, we will admire Bernini’s extraordinary Fountain of the Four Rivers, discover the fascinating history of the square, and learn about the artistic rivalry traditionally associated with two of Rome’s greatest Baroque masters, Bernini and Borromini.
As we continue our walk, we will explore picturesque alleyways, beautiful hidden piazzas, historic churches, and unexpected architectural treasures, uncovering fascinating stories, curious legends, and little-known details that bring Rome’s extraordinary past to life.
And of course, no journey through the heart of Rome would be complete without a glimpse of the world-famous Trevi Fountain, one of the city’s most beloved landmarks. Through carefully selected slides, we will embark on an unforgettable journey through some of Calabria’s most spectacular places, exploring picturesque seaside towns, hilltop villages, ancient archaeological sites, and remarkable religious monuments.
Our adventure will begin along Calabria’s stunning coastline, where we will discover the breathtaking beauty of Tropea, with its dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters, and iconic Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell’Isola.
