Crete Senesi Virtual Tour: Tuscany’s Painted Landscapes
Details
REGISTRATION REQUIRED! Click here to register
Join us for a virtual journey into the Crete Senesi, the extraordinary clay hills just south of Siena where art and nature meet in one of Tuscany’s most iconic landscapes. With their rolling horizons, winding cypress-lined roads, and shifting colors that change with every season, the Crete Senesi have long captured the imagination of painters, poets, and travelers.
Through images and stories, we’ll explore the heart of this unique land. We’ll stop in Asciano, often called the gateway to the Crete, with its medieval streets and Romanesque architecture. We’ll admire the timeless charm of Buonconvento, a walled village where the past feels present, and we’ll get a glimpse of Rapolano Terme, known for its thermal springs and ancient traditions.
Slide after slide, we’ll wander through quiet villages, ancient abbeys, and wide open countryside where history and daily life are deeply connected.
✨ Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the Crete Senesi from home and let their timeless atmosphere capture your imagination.
