The Power of Mobile Connectivity

Details

We are living in a world where connectivity it essential.

We need to be connected via our mobile phones via GSM, our smartwatches via Bluetooth, our PCs via WiFi and our lights via Zigbee. We are hearing how devices communicate via 5G, LP WAN or Sigfox. Technology is galloping ahead at increasing speed and it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up.

The IT Forum Gold Coast is pleased to welcome Muir Groves to help us understand the technologies currently available, the most appropriate environments for their deployment and future developments that we should anticipate and plan for.

Muir is the communications and connectivity technology expert of Powertec Telecommunications, an Australian company established in 1995 to help clients understand telecommunications and its importance in the modern world. Recently Powertec has focussed on developing IoT solutions. They have deployed a number of exciting and successful IoT deployments, and Muir will share information on these projects.

Come and join us for an insightful presentation from the people who believe in a world where everyone is connected! The presentation will be followed by networking and nibbles.

Doors open at 6pm for a 6:15pm start.
