1. IT at the Olympics 2. Training Resources for IT Pros

For the first part of our October Meeting, Daryl Craig, Director of Information Technology at the Canadian Olympic Committee is going to tell us what goes into planning and executing IT Support for the COC. Daryl was responsible for IT for Team Canada at the Winter Olympics in Seoul Korea. He's going to share some of what goes into providing IT support for the COC in Canada and when Team Canada is at the Olympic Games.

For the second half of the meeting, we're going to have a group discussion around different Training Resources for IT Professionals. Please be prepared to listen to and discuss the various methods members use to keep on top of the rapidly changing IT landscape. What blogs do you follow? What podcasts do you listen to? What's your favorite learning site - Pluralsight, Lynda.com, Microsoft Virtual Academy, or ???? What User Groups do you follow? A lively discussion will benefit all members as we try to stay up to date.

PLEASE NOTE: We will start the meeting right at 7pm. We will not have our usual 1/2 hour networking time before the presentation due to the room availability.
