What we’re about

Welcome to “It’s All Fun and Games!”

Looking for a group that brings people together for fun, family-friendly activities, and meaningful connections? You’ve found it! We’re a family of business professionals, entrepreneurs, and real estate investors spanning three generations—from 7 to 65 years old—living and working across West Central Florida like Seminole, Largo, Pinellas, Clearwater, Tampa Bay, Brandon, Riverview, Ruskin, Parrish, Bradenton, Sarasota, and St. Pete.

Our motto is simple: If it’s not fun, it’s not worth doing.

We created this group to connect with people like us—gamers, business professionals, young couples with kids, and anyone who enjoys making the most of life by playing games, exploring nature, and building relationships.

What We Do
Our events are designed to bring people together in a relaxed, inclusive environment. Whether you’re a strategy master, a nature enthusiast, or just looking for fun things to do with your family, there’s something for you.

Here’s a taste of what to expect:
• Board Game Nights
Meet fellow gamers for an evening of board games, card games, and party games. Whether you’re into strategy, cooperative play, or lighthearted fun, we’ve got you covered. Bring your favorite games to share, or dive into the ones we provide. All experience levels are welcome!
• Nature Walks & Outdoor Adventures
Explore the beauty of central Florida with casual, family-friendly nature walks and hikes. We’ll visit beaches, parks, and scenic trails—perfect for unwinding and making new connections.
• Trips to Local Hotspots
From Busch Gardens to the Florida Aquarium, Marie Selby Gardens, and the St. Pete Pier, we’re all about discovering the best that central Florida has to offer. These outings are great for families, couples, and anyone who loves exploring.
• Kid-Friendly Activities
With kids in our own family, we know how important it is to find activities that everyone can enjoy. Our events are designed to include little ones while still being fun for the adults.
• Business Networking
As business professionals and entrepreneurs ourselves, we value the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. While our focus is on fun, you’ll also find plenty of opportunities to network, share ideas, and build meaningful relationships.

Who Should Join?
We welcome anyone who wants to have fun, connect with others, and enjoy a mix of games, adventures, and family-friendly activities. Whether you’re:
• A board game enthusiast looking for players
• A family seeking kid-friendly outings
• A business professional or entrepreneur who loves meeting new people
• A nature lover who enjoys local adventures
• Or just someone who believes life should be fun…

…this group is for you!

Our Values
At the heart of everything we do is our guiding principle: If it’s not fun, it’s not worth doing. We believe in creating an environment that’s casual, welcoming, and inclusive for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Seminole Game Night (1st Saturday of each Month 4 - 10 PM)

Seminole Game Night (1st Saturday of each Month 4 - 10 PM)

Barbara's House, 7343 Conch Blvd, Seminole, FL, US

Welcome board gamers who love Cooperative, Worker placement and Builder games. I am hosting this game night to meet with other game enthusiasts in the great St. Pete/West Tampa/Largo area.

We will have about 30 minutes of Meet & Greet and if folks want we may play a party game before deciding on what board game to play. If any of you have your own games, please bring them as it will add variety. Also, if you are an expert rules teacher I welcome you to help all of us understand the rules of the game we decide to play.

Please feel free to bring your own snacks, drinks and foods. This is a gated community so I will need you to RSVP with the name on your driver's license. You can reach me privately if you like.

Some of the games that I currently have are:

  • FlashPoint and Forbidden Sky both cooperative games
  • Red Planet a worker placement game
  • Cities Skylines and New York 1901 both builder games.

Once we have an established group we will also play longer Strategy games. Here are more of my games or games I have played: https://photos.app.goo.gl/cmM6ttgmsPMuD3gr9

If you are not familiar with the different categories of board and group card games, here are some of the most common:

  • Strategy games: These games usually involve planning and decision-making, and often require a deep understanding of game mechanics. Examples include chess, Go, and Risk.
  • Deck-building games: These games involve constructing a deck of cards over the course of the game, and using that deck to achieve a goal. Examples include Dominion, Legendary, and Ascension.
  • Cooperative games: These games involve players working together to achieve a goal, rather than competing against each other. Examples include Pandemic, Forbidden Island, and Hanabi.
  • Worker placement games: These games involve placing workers on a game board to perform actions, often with limited resources or opportunities. Examples include Agricola, Lords of Waterdeep, and Stone Age.
  • Card drafting games: These games involve players drafting cards from a pool, often with limited information or resources. Examples include 7 Wonders, Sushi Go, and Blood Rage.
  • Party games: These games are designed to be played in a group, and often involve humor, silliness, or social interaction. Examples include Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, and Pictionary.
  • Trivia games: These games involve answering questions on various subjects, often with a time limit or other constraints. Examples include Trivial Pursuit, Jeopardy, and 20 Questions.
  • Roll-and-move games: These games involve rolling dice or other random elements to move around a game board, often with a goal of reaching a specific location or completing a task. Examples include Monopoly, Sorry!, and Trouble.

Note: Event held at host's private home where kids and/or pets may be present - While we try to keep our house looking best as possible for game night, we're human just like everyone else so it may not be spotless - please excuse any messes, and if you need us to make space for any snacks you bring please let us know, we're always happy to make room.
